Careers & Expert Collaborations
We work only with collaborators whose credibility can be verified before any assignment.
iPapers admits only selected researchers, analysts, editors, statisticians, sector specialists and senior practitioners. The standard is not availability. It is evidence, judgement, discretion and the ability to stand behind work that may carry academic, commercial or public consequences.
A selective network, not an open marketplace.
iPapers does not allocate confidential work to anonymous or unverified external contributors. Admission follows identity review, academic and professional screening, reference checks, portfolio assessment and, where appropriate, subject-specific testing.
Interviews are conducted in person. A collaborator must be able to attend meetings, travel where necessary, work under structured confidentiality protocols and accept that high-trust work requires visibility, accountability and professional discipline.
- Verified qualifications and a credible professional trail.
- Clear expertise rather than generic academic self-description.
- Excellent written judgement in at least one working language.
- Capacity to work with precise briefs, revisions and quality control.
Internal Access
iPapers Researcher Registry
The Registry is reserved for approved researchers and internal collaborators. It is not a public application route and is not listed in the main menu.
Access is granted only after formal approval and internal registration.
What we look for
The strongest collaborators combine knowledge with restraint: they know the literature, the method, the sector and the limits of what can responsibly be claimed.
Doctoral and postdoctoral researchers
Researchers with genuine disciplinary depth, strong synthesis skills, methodological seriousness and the ability to produce work that is defensible under scrutiny.
Statistics, modelling and data analysis
Specialists in quantitative, qualitative and mixed-methods analysis, SPSS, R, Python, survey design, evaluation, modelling and reproducible workflows.
Editors, translators and reviewers
People who can improve argument, structure, terminology and tone without flattening meaning or producing mechanical translation.
Senior practitioners
Professionals with serious experience in shipping, public affairs, governance, law, ESG, finance, policy, health, education, technology or strategic communication.
Confidential and high-stakes work
Collaborators must understand discretion, conflicts of interest, reputational risk, data protection and the difference between speed and carelessness.
Availability to attend in person
We value people who can be present when the work requires it: interviews, briefings, onboarding, quality reviews and selected client-facing or internal meetings.
Our values in collaboration
We value precision, discretion, verifiable evidence, calm communication and the maturity to recognise the limits of what can be responsibly supported.
Evidence before assertion
Claims must rest on sources, data, legislation, method or sector knowledge. Elegant language is not a substitute for evidence.
Confidentiality as conduct
Confidentiality is not merely a signed document. It is a working habit: controlled access, careful handling of files and disciplined communication.
Quality without theatricality
We prefer sober, defensible work to inflated language. A strong deliverable must be clear, usable and proportionate to the brief.
Responsiveness under pressure
Deadlines matter. So do corrections, audit trails, version control and the ability to communicate early when a risk appears.

Approved collaborators may be considered for recurring work, specialist panels, internal review roles and advisory assignments.
A demanding, respectful working environment
